  1. If I play a regular 2D movie and press 3D on the remote... I'm usually presented different 3D viewing options to pick from:

    However, if I play an actual 3D video file then the TV will automatically use it's 3d pattern recognition to pick the 3D mode for you. Usually the TV detects the correct 3D mode (ie. side by side) but it doesn't alyways pick the right one. So once it detects 3D and puts the TV into 3D mode... the 3D button no longer brings up that full 3D menu anymore. Instead it'll either just turn 3D mode off or back on. So the problem is if the TV picks the wrong 3D mode I have no way to correct it.

    Does anybody know a way to disable the TV's 3d pattern recognition? Maybe there's a way to change this is the hidden service menu or something (which I don't know how to access). MY LG TV model is 60UF8500. Thanks.
