Any help on protecting videos from being tampered

I am highly suspicious of video camera footage being tampered with and I cannot afford a real forensic analysts and I think they’re often compromised. I was wondering if when sending a video to media info is there any aspects to their analyzations that a sure sign that footage was maliciously edited? Please excuse my ignorance with computers. I am just learning. Thank you

Mediainfo gives you basic parameters of the video which it mostly derives from reading the header. It does not do the kind of deep analysis you are looking for.

What kinds of artifacts or clues are you seeing that lead you to believe your files are being manipulated? Do you have the original files for comparison?

One issue is missing audio. The screen has the word “mic” at all times. When it’s green there’s sound. In this video it’s green but no sound. The audio is vital to the case so I feel it was maliciously deleted

If you don't have an original footage to compare it to there is nothing you can do about it, At least not something the community here can do without an original and tempered with samples, I see threads like this pop up from time to time but unfortunately even in the deepfake era and AI rendering there are limits to what a human being can do with such tools especially when there is no samples at hand, If all what you need to prove is that it was tempered with and case dismissed, I think you have done that already.

Thank you for taking your time to explain what you did. Issues like a cameras specs list frames per second at 30 yet the video has a range from 15-600 fps. The problem is that I’m not at all computer literate like youngsters but I’m learning. I’m going to send a few more pics. I don’t know if it will help. Also, there are 2 versions of the video. One video is date and time stamped and the other isn’t. This is the chain of custody of the footage ..to me it appears by the number of times it went here and there that the footage was being edited.

This is dash camera footage that was accessed by 2 officers for 6 days after the arrest. Appears a lot of transferring and moving etc. lots of different hash codes. To me it appears there was malicious tampering
