    however I need to create link to share with a journalist a .mxf file of 19 GB.

    I am looking for a (possibly) free service provider, does it exist? thanks

    There are many file sharing services, but none that would host a 19 GB file for zer0 $$$, I presume.

    Anyway, you can create a "trackerless" torrent for your .MXF and then email it to your colleague.

    P.S.: Another possibility: install, configure and run a free FTP or HTTP server on your PC and then share the URL

    protocol://your.current.IPv4.address/filename.MXF

  3. split it and zip it.

    -do a checksum
    -split file into 100MB chunks
    -send 100MB x 190 pieces via free hosting plus checksum
    -other party downloads and joins files, run checksum to see if it matches
    or torrent (easier)
