Hi... Im trying to convert a DivX movie to MPEG2 and the AC3 5.1 audio track from the DivX to a separate .AC3 file so it can then be loaded into an authoring proggy. I can convert the movie file.. no probs.. but problem arises when I try to rip the AC3 track to a .AC3 file.. someone said to use Virtual Dub but this doesn`t work well at all, you just get whitenoise or nothing at all. Does anyone know of a program which WILL work for ripping the AC3 audio track to a .ac3 file????
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Kind Regards

after you extracted the ac3 with virtualdub/nandub you must add a ac3 header to the file
