copying porn

I borrowed a porn DVD from a friend and Im able to rip the vob files ok,(or so it seems) until I go I check the indiviual files and the end of the movie is missing, for instance a 4 hour movie is 2 hours and it gets cut off. Im using sefys guide for making vcd.s (smartripper, dvd2avi and tmpgenc ) any suggestions for different ripper etc

Well, grmpy, you should be ashamed of yourself!! That said, try ripping again, but this time using FILES instead of MOVIE (in SmartRipper). SR doesn't select all files if you use MOVIE (just picks the largest one).

Anyway, most porn DVDs are not encrypted (so I've heard), so you may be able to just drag them from your DVD-ROM drive straight to HD > NERO > DVD-R (or process to SVCD, VCD, etc).

Well, actually, all of my porn... I-I-I mean all of my NEIGHBOR'S porn is on video tape! (And pretty crappy transfers, at that. So bad, that my capture card won't lock on the sync pulses properly. I have... I mean, HE has some good stuff, too!)

smartripper does choose ALL the vobs in a set....

btw, beware of using file mode in smartripper as it doesn't remove any multi-angles...assuming porn movies have them (dunno...maybe???)
