Mpg to VCD..

I've read all the guides. I've done what it said.

My burner is IOMEGA zip 8x4x32.

I'm trying to burn the mpg onto a vcd. Heres some problems.

With the larger files(movies) I get burner failed error. This is using NERO. It says burner failed processing at 8x.

So I tried at 4x, it gave me a connection timed out.

So I download VCDEasy. I try doing it that way. It gets an error saying no driver found for IOmega etc. I use force drivers, doesn't work for those eithers.

I did a small file on Nero. I got a successful burn. I put it on my DVD player that says compatible with VCD, get no disc error. Maybe the CDs I'm using aren't compatible.

I put it on my DVD laptop and it gives me data files. I run the bat and the movie works but no sound.

So basically I'm lost as to why I can't successfully burn the movie without it failing at its normal speed? My DVD player is sanyo, it says only certain CDRs will play, STI ones at Circuit. I'll try those.

But more importantly I need to get it to burn successful. There some update I need? My burtner was fine, then I reformatted and it didn't work as good. It always failed during mp3s, etc. I thought I downloaded the right firmware for it, could be wrong. Please any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

yes i have the same issues , Im using easycd creator and I can convert them using tmpeg but they dont alway play or may not have sound ?? what is the cause of this the orignal files I have are in mpg format now mpeg, does that make a difference ? How can i correct this issue ? help anyone ???
