I woke up today with a message from Malwarebytes that I had an malware.
The malware was found in SubRip 1.57.1 that is downloaded from this website.
I know the last update was in 2018 but a lot of undetected malwares are in the wild and many have stayed
undetected for years.
Can any one shed some light on this? false positive or?

Agreed.
From a fellow Arkansan, as long as subrip has been around i have been using it. Its been the de-facto DVD sub ripping tool for a decade. Using subrip along subtitle workshop were the tools i used on over 1000 DVDs. In all those years never had a report of Malware, And i have used many a different virus software suites over the years.
Good to see you are still around Baldrick.Murphy's law taught me everything I know.
