  1. I have an avi of 799 MB that I want to burn to one disc. When I used TMPGENC it increased my file size. How can I keep the compliant vcd format file the same size so I can get it on one disc?

  3. If the size (time wise that is not file size) is only 120mins, you should be able to convert to VCD (PAL/NTSC) and burn with Nero onto an 80min CD. I have just done Cats & Dogs from start to end.. I cropped about 1 min of credits at the end.

    I now have 1 x VCD Cats n Dogs on 1 CD (80min)

REMEMBER A WISE MAN ONCE SAID "ITS NOT THE SIZE OF THE FILE THAT MATTERS.. ITS THE LENGTH OF THE MOVE (HRS/MINS/SECS) THAT COUNTS.

  4. NOPE!
You can't get 120 Minutes on an 80 Minute CD! You can get 80 Minutes on an 80 Minute CD-R when burning in VCD Format. If somebody tells you can get 120 Minutes on an 80 Minute CD-R, that dudes been smokin some weed or something.
You will need to use (2) CD-R's, that's OK because I can get these things for like 10 Cents a piece.
Anyway, if that other dude has some magic secret to shoehorn 120 Minues on an 80 Minute CD-R, I sure would like to hear it.

  5. TODD,
THE PROF is correct there is a guide on how to do this on the site I have not finished doing mine but like THE PROF said you are now making a xVCD not a standard VCD.Well if you want to lose a little quality then you can use the guide here it is
    http://forum.vcdhelp.com/viewtopic.php?t=84759

Like you said the discs are only ten cents a piece so you will get better quality using standard vcd template(1150kbits) or if you use the guide he recomends doing it at around (900 kbits).I'm trying it for convenience no getting up to change discs.

    Hope this helps
