    how does blender access ffmpeg?


    does blender come with its own ffmpeg alleady installed ? or does it use the ffmpeg installed on your ubuntu 21.04 sustem?

    Not totally sure, but it probably doesn't use ffmpeg but libav&co (the libraries used in ffmpeg) to avoid unnecessary saving intermediate image files.
