I have a total of 4 video file. One is of very excellent quality that I've converted to SVCD complaint video. The other 3 were of lower quality and ended up as VCD. But is there a way to get all those on one disc that can be used in a stand alone DVD player?

Nero balks if I try to sneak in MPG2 and MPG files on SVCD setting. I could convert the 3 low quality video to SVCD complaint video but then I wouldn't be able to fit all 4 on one disc. :P

Is this possible or am I SOL?

    TIA

  2. Well, I'm pretty sure VCDImager will let you mix MPEG1 and MPEG2 tracks. It's a bit of a crapshoot whether your DVD player will take it though.

  3. Put a vcd header on your svcd file. You retain the quality of the svcd and nero will allow you to burn it to the same vcd as the rest. Just ignore any errors nero gives about non-compliance.

To do this, open tmpgenc and select, File-Mpeg tools, add the name of your file to the file box, select MPEG1-VCD as the type. and give the output file a different name.

    That's it.....
