    Hello -

Thank you for letting me join. Some background. I lost my 29 year old son in a traffic accident exactly one year ago today. During the service, I recording the video with a Sony 4K camera on a tripod in the back of the chapel. I also had two microphones up front, connected to a PC, recording the left and right channels at the front of the chapel. I have put together the video, pretty much the way that I want it, using Adobe Premiere Pro (I subscribe to the entire suite). However, I have yet to find a "professional" looking BluRay authoring software that will let me set menus, intros, etc. Can anyone make a recommendation? I have tried Roxio BluRay editor and Vegas DVD Architect 5.x without much luck. I never like the way that they turn out. I'm looking for something that looks more professional. Can anyone here help? Thank in advance and I apologize if this has already been covered in another post.

Firstly, my condolensces for your loss.

Secondy, the term 'professional' is rather wide and you need to be more clear as to what you want to achieve.

    However.....

Menus, intros are nice but typically over-rated and passed by as quickly as possible. And I know since I created some quite elaborated menus etc. in my dvd-authoring days.

A simple message is often the most effective.

Blu-Disc Studio is what i use. they had/have a free lite version that's plenty sophisticated for anyone not using it full time. the learning curve is steep.

  4. Depending on how long you have had your Adobe license you may have access to Adobe Encore.
If I were starting from scratch today I would probably get TMPGenc Video Mastering Works.

But what is it about "the way they turn out" you are dissatisfied with? Both of the products you mentioned are pretty decent.

You may also want to consider simply uploading to YouTube or Vimeo, in sections rather than chapters, since that's how most of your family is likely to access it anyway.

Thanks for quick replies. And for the condolences. I appreciate it. My experience level may simply not be sufficient to make the applications I mentioned work well. But, I will give them another shot. I do appreciate the help for a new guy on the forum. Take care and thank you.
