Problem playing VCD's in Sony DVD player

I havent had a problem playing VCD's until now. But I borrowed a VCD movie this plays OK on the PC but not in my SONy player - it comes up with an error "c13 00" on the LED anybody any ideas ?

According to the owner´s manual, the error "C 13 00" means the disc is dirty, but this message appears in a number of other situations, as if the disc´s surface presents minor scratches (not deep ones).

I had this problem with a rented DVD ("The Loser&quot. The film played fine, but I couldn't see the bonus material, even in my DVD-ROM (a Sony, by the way).

Try to clean the disc or, if possible, get another copy.
