Hey all!
I have a Samsung Sv5000W multi standard VCR.
Certain tapes make the input switch back and forth from NTSC to PAL and back again.
The red "conversion" LED lights up and the picture jumps each time it switches (which is every second).
If it was just the front panel messing up i could deal but the output of the unit is also affected.
I've manually switched the input and output to NTSC (it's an NTSC tape), but it almost "resets" to Auto.
Does anyone have an idea as to what could be causing this?
Is there some kind of sync error on those tapes?
Did a section of signal degrade?
Thanks!!
