I accidentally have to reinstall my OS, losing all my video settings. I had them set for so long, I forgot what I used. Now, in default settings the picture can often look like 420p and sometimes distortion (like I'm watching on an old tv kinda). Everything is default currently on VLC.
Current relevant setup:
I'm using VLC 3.0.8 Vetinari.
Windows 7 Home 64 bit
2 Dell U2412m Monitors (DVI connected)
Nvidia EVGA GTX670 FTW
442.19 graphics driver
Nvidia settings:
Desktop Color Depth: Highest (32 bit)
Refresh Rate: 60Hz
Under both video color and video image settings I have "the video player settings" selected.
Use inverce telecine checked.
I'm hoping someone can suggest optimal settings for:
Output
Deinterlacing and Mode
Also, if there is an advanced video setting I should try changing, please let me know.
If you need more information, please ask.
