I'm trying to convert a dvd rip into svcd format, but can't load the avi into the audio input. The video works ok, just no sound. I had to install a special codec in order to hear sound in the video originally (AC3 Audio Decoder) which was part of a nimo44.exe codec bundle.
So anyone have suggestions as to how to load up the audio in Tmpgenc? I was wondering if maybe something to do with separating the audio from the video first and doing it that way, I think that is multiplexing or something like that right?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thnx

I went to doom9.net forums and looked around, and apparently, it has something to do with the AC3 audio codec. So do I need to re-encode the audio to mp3 format or something? How would I do that, and how would I rejoin the audio to the video? Again, thnx to any who can help out.

use this wav as source either in TMPG or convert to .mp2 with BeSweet or something, do video only in TMPG and mux.
