hi
when i load a avi movie i get the message FRAMERATE 29970/2000 NOT SUPPORTED any body got any ideas
alot of people on this site go on about how good this software is the only thing this version encodes is FRESH AIR

According to the manual cce support the following framerates only.
23.976 / 24 / 25 / 29.97 / 30 / 50 / 59.94 / 60 fps
If your source has a different framerate you will get that "unsupported" message. -

can some kind person please tell me how to change the frame rate in a avi movie so that CCE will convert it to mpeg 1
if possible -
You can use any video editor, e.g. VirtualDub, Avisynth or Adobe Premiere. Search the forum for "convert framerate"

right been trying for about 2 hours to get vdub to frameserve
followed the guide from here got to the part start frameserer and NOTHING it just stops at 0
i`m trying to frameserve to get cce to encode a avi film -
i give f-----g up
i`ve tried every guide on this site to try and frameserve a avi file so cce2.5 can read it the closest i`ve got is with virtualBLOODYdub i get to start frameserver and all i get is 0
it just sits there
i`ve followed the templete guides to the end when i save it to my documents open up with vfap guess what NOTHING
doing the dvd bit no problems
