  1. Hello everyone,

so I got this problem where the rendered video always shows much darker than the material I've been working with.
I know there are a couple threads on this, but I've tried plenty things and to be frank I'm simply lost.

I wanted to implement this animation into my website. (That's the reason for the odd cropping.)
The plan was for the video to have the same background color as the site, so it can blend in seemlessly.

    My original background color is HEX #f2f2f2 / R 242, G 242, B 242 / H 0, S 0, B 95
    However the background color shown in any player seems to be HEX #e0e0e0 / R 224, G 224, B 224 / H 0, S 0, B 88
    In the end there you see a couple test-frames of blank white, which also shows up darker as HEX #ebebeb / R 235, G 235, B235 / H 0, S 0, B 92
Oddly enough all the thumbnails and folder icons got the colors right.

I'm working with Premiere Pro, and After Effects CS6. Unfortunately I'm sorta lost on the technical stuff.
Any suggestions how I might get the look I want or something close to it? Any help is appreciated.

    Seeya!

  2. See "full range" vs. "limited range" YUV.

  3. It's a playback or display configuration issue. Maybe GPU settings / drivers . Look for the full/limited settings jagabo referred to in the GPU settings

Video looks correct - 1) youtube 2) downloaded from youtube, verified locally 3) in html for firefox / chrome

background color is RGB 242,242,242 , and 255,255,255 at the end
