Want to makie a video lopp, attached to a song..

I am total newbie in this.. just a baby...

I want to make a loop of the first dancer in this video, then erase all the rest of the dancers, and attach the loop to the song..
I don't have a clue how to even start this project.. This is the best dancer, most relaxed freeform dancer I've seen in my whole life... I wants to make the loop, and play it on the wall through uv-colored steam with the video projector... A friend gave me a couple projectors free for this hollowgramish kind of experiment...

Where do I start..? You bunch could probably do it eyes closed...

I'm running Ubuntu Studio 16 for media editing...

1. In your NLE, cut the video so only the dancer is shown.

2. Copy that video.

3. Place multiple copies of that video on the video timeline while leaving the audio timeline untouched.
