not cutting but joining mpeg movies....is it possible??

Hi guys!

I wonder if there is a program which can not only cut mpeg movies but also join them, just like virtueldub does with other formats.

Is it possible with TEMPEnc?

yes. just go to File/Mpeg Tools and select Cut/Merge. Click Add and add, don't worry about the start and end times and save it to a new mpeg file.

I always get a high pitched squeal when i join .mpgs together with tempgenc at the join point .I have tried carmels mpg join and another 1 called mpgjoin but they both left noticable skips and sound is always out of synch straight after joining mpgs.Is there any thing that can do it with out the probs

-some posted here that Tmpgenc previous version can merge without the bip sound...
-Ulead VS6 is joining and editing mpgs very nicely.....
-make a search here for "beep"......
