HELP running XP ....

Ok i am running XP and want to rip DVD's but for some reason ...
1 I cant get the aspii drivers to install
2 Flaskmpeg wont recognise any pluginns i try such as > panasonic.

Anyone suggest a better medium? plz help .
If not i am going to have to go back to win98se which i dont want to cos XP can handle a file bigger than 4 GB. HELP!!

if you cant get the adaptec drivers to work right, you should try forceaspi.. you can get it from dup-dvd.com
