Hello guys,
One simple Question:
I got a .MOV File which is locked/encrypted...
It's an old video file from my old phone where I used to store personal pictures and videos (not what you think) in an app called 'PhotoVault' or someting like this.
I think I still know the passphrase, but how can I decrypt the file?
Is there a way to achieve this with hex editing?
Thanks in advance!!

A hex editor? Most likely, no. Not unless you're willing to manually shift practically every bit in the entire file. And that's if they didn't compress as well as encrypt.
Have you tried contacting the app's publisher? They may have some tools or offer ways to decrypt the file.If cameras add ten pounds, why would people want to eat them?
