  1. Hi!
    This is my first post....
I have a ready DAT file and intended to burn to VCD with another new operning.
I placed the opening file first and then the video file in DAT.
After burning, when i play back on my VCD player, It tends to JERK like freezing for 1 sec before continuing. Although it is not "SO" bad, bout 1-2 times per VCD. Is there any way to stop it?

    :P Thanks!

  2. I am not an expert, but I had a similar problem on a couple of VCD's I burned. It would stop for a few seconds then go again. I doubt this is your problem, but now when I burn a vcd, I shut down everthing else on my computer. No problem since I do that. I know this is way off in left field but it did help when I use Nero.

  3. Well......
I think that can i try like defragmting the hard disk and placing the the DAT files FIRST @ the hard disk? THink it will work? Cause the theory is that files placed on the front sector will be read first and i think that the jerking is caused by memory or buffer? Think so?

**Is there any ""REAL TIME"" encoders out there that can produce almost industrial near quality VCDS? I tried LSX and it is not so ""REAL TIME""

  4. I am a newbie to, but defragging alot always makes everything I do come out better on my computer. I defrag after converting a couple avi's to mpeg's everytime. It only takes a little while, and when I convert avi's again the conversion doesn't take as long either. Like I said I am not an expert but defragging alot never hurt anything I've done since I made those jerky VCD's I mentioned earlier.

  5. Oh and about Real time, I don't know much about that, but I read something somewhere in vcd help about Real Time. Maybe you can look for that somewhere until one of the experts takes a look at your post.
