    Wash them in cold water, then dry 'em in high heat.

    Works every time.

    Seriously, though---when you say "shrink," what do you mean? Taking resolution down from 720x480 to 480x240 (for example), or making the filesize smaller by decreasing bitrate?

    I'd suggest you check the guides to your immediate left.
