Camcorder disc seems empty played on PC

Question. I recorded in video mode on my canon dc201. i can watch the movie on my camcorder but when i put the disc in my computer it seems the disc is empty. what can i do?

That records directly onto DVD media, right? I believe you have to finalize the disc in the camera.

camcorder does not give me the option to finalize

never to old to learn....camcorder needs to be pluged in to finalize the disc
