I using this connection.
Sony SLV-X825MN VCR (set to NTSC playback) -> Panasonic DMR-ES10 (TBC & NTSC) -> Hauppauge USB-Live 2
No issue on other vhs.. so i wonder isit the tape itself is going to spoilt ?
did not see any mould..

Most likely the tape is a copy made without correction, or possibly the instability is too great for the ES10 to handle.

There's no TBC active in that capture. So, either JVRaines is correct that it's from a second generation tape, or the TBC isn't working in your DVD recorder or ... Did you try the other input in the ES10? I have an ES15 and it has 2 inputs and I've read (correctly or not, I don't know), that only one works as a TBC.

Hi, i test... ES10 did has TBC but i think it reall too great for the ES10 to handle.
As i connect direct from VCR and bypass..
the so call original vhs, do look like copy -

The manual makes no mention of different processing for the inputs. But it does say
Line-in NR (Only when IN1, IN2 or IN3 is selected.)
So perhaps turning off the Line-in NR will help.
Reduces video tape noise while dubbing.
Depending on the software, jittering may occur.
