    Hi!

    Am very new and inexpereinced.

Am using a Windows 10 PC

I am wondering if someone can recomend a simple video editor which allows me edit images to pre-recorded MP3's.

For now I am just looking for a very simple package that will allow quite basic construction of stills edited to a pre-existing audio track.

I am hoping the finished product would e something I could post on You Tube, so I would want the export feature to create a You Tube compatible file (I am assuming that is not unusual)

Later on, probably requiring a more complex program I would like to start editing pre-recorded video from my phone to audio(having muted the original audio that accompanies the video/)

Because I am still finding my way, i was hoping to start with a free download editor, and maybe pay for something better when I had started to find my feet, but would gladly pay for a good editor if my requirements of (certainly the first question) are not catered for in the free download options.

Any advice will be gratefully received!

Am using a Windows 10 PC, and have already editied video's successfully using the You Tube inline editor but find it a little clunky and limited when it comes to editing Stills and Video to Audio (that is not pre-provided)

    Thank you N.

  2. Check out this list https://www.videohelp.com/software/sections/video-editors-basic

Also, have you tried Windows Movie Maker? That is what most people use who don't want to spend money and can't be fussed downloading and testing lots of different freeware.

  3. In addition, AVS editor (good for newcomers), VEGAS Movie Studio (more capabilities), Davinci Resolve (free, but for experienced users)
