    Hi,
I need of a JVC VCR SVHS for acquiring old tapes and revert in digital restoring to DVD.

I cannot found any SR-V10E or HR-S9xxx series in Europe. This is the only model I have found.

What do you think about it?

I thought you were LOOKING FOR an S-7722, but you found one already.

Ebay/Germany is your best place to find a good VHS machine.

But I want to know, before I bought it, if it is a good choice. I know it haven't dynamic drum and video stabilizer... but it has TBC and DNR. Is it enough for old tapes, or does I need of video stabilizer?

  6. The dynamic drum and stabilizer are the least important features by far. The stabilizer usually causes more problems than it solves, and the gimmicky dynamic drum in some JVC consumer models was prone to failure. So a model without those things can be fine. The most important JVC feature is the DigiPure DNR followed by the TBC, so a HR-S7722 should be a good choice.

You just need to be careful not to overpay for a worn out vcr. Sellers are asking ridiculous high prices for all JVCs now, with no thought to condition. JVCs can be fragile if abused: don't buy unless the seller guarantees this 7722 is in perfect working condition and promises you can return it for refund if you experience any problems.

As hech54 mentioned, most Europeans now buy their JVC vcrs from eBay dealers in Germany (www.ebay.de). There are several well-respected German dealers who offer good vcrs with a return/refund guarantee. You might want to ask if they ship to Italy: some do, some don't, due to notorious problems with Italian authorities "losing" packages.
