I've ripped hundreds of DVD's in my time, and with the advancements of the software I've become accustomed to not running into any issues in getting the content to my hard drive. However, I've fell out of it for a few years (due to the advent of streaming and DVDs loosing popularity). But I recently came back to it and tried to rip a DVD of Batman: The Dark Knight Returns the other day and I got the following error:
I found this strange, as I've never had issues in the past with DVD Decrypter, RipItForMe or any other programs. Does anyone know why this particular disc generated an error? Thanks!

What hech54 is saying in his own inimitable way is that your decryption program is out of date and will not handle some of the newer encryption schemes added to some DVD's.

AnyDVD, DVDFab and DVDFab Passkey offer free trials that may work for this title. MakeMKV is free to use, and will decrypt it, but will only rip DVD's to an MKV file, not DVD-video structure.
