    using Ubuntu 16 64bit. looking to edit parental ratings, add poster, and any other meta-data i can use, i do not see a good search result when looking for "tag" in search. looking for tag editor for mkv files...

    Maybe http://linux.die.net/man/1/mkvpropedit with Jmkvpropedit GUI. It should work on linux... I hope

    I know a lot of metadata can be edited with mkvtoolnix in windows. They have a linux version also, but I'm not sure if all features are in it.
