I just upgraded to the latest version of VSO Media player and I now have CONSTANT breaks for buffering. The new version is 1.5.5.513. How can I correct this. It was NOT a problem with the old player. I'm referring to .mp4 files that I've downloaded from YouTube and played flawlessly with the older player. BTW, where can I get older versions if I need to go back? I think it was 1.2 something

Thanks for the help with the older versions. Hopefully someone else has some tips/tweaks I can try to get this latest version running properly. I did find that if I moved the files to my SDS drive to play from it I cut the amount of buffering stops considerably but I was having NO stops on my older/original drive. I have stopped all running programs and suspended the automatic updates, etc so essentially nothing else is running other than VSO Media Player. THANKS in advance for help on the buffering issue

  4. I'm not sure why this software needs to buffer* files played locally (*never seen this "feature"before on any player).
Regardless, I don't have the problem you're experiencing.
