I am trying to convert from a .WMV file to DV that I write to my camcorder with WinDV.
This works but at various points in the video generated by STOIK the conversion from .WMV slows down for a few seconds and then recovers with a short high speed sequence.

I'm guessing that this is a buffering problem but how do I cure it?

    Thanks,

    Peter.

    PLEASE IGNORE.

Found a fix. Thanks for looking

  2. Without knowing what's actually going on under the hood at any given moment -- perhaps it's encoding video, then audio, then muxing -- I don't see that this is necessarily a problem or needs curing.

The stuttering followed by high speed video was on the output stream. It was caused by me not correctly setting parameters in STOIK.

    Thanks,

    Peter
