  1. i have alot vhc tape, and i want to convert them to dvd
    some1 can sell to me the TV card: Hauppauge PVR-150 MCE at 31$ its worth it?

    the quality of the card is good?
    and how much space its take for 90 min?

    The 150 is more of a TV tuner, but would work with a VHS player. Commercial VHS tapes may have Macrovision protection, so that can cause problems when backing them up.

    The price is good, the quality OK for an economy setup.
    To do higher quality VHS backups, you need a very good VHS deck, a Time Base Corrector and a high quality capture card.
    These can be very expensive.

    How much space a 90 minute tape takes up on your computer depends on the capture settings.
    If you capture for a DVD disc format, you should be able to get about 2 hours on a single layer DVD or about 4 Gigabytes or a bit less.

    BTW the TV card is used.
    and its worth to invest a little more money for other TV card?
    i want to convert my family celebration, so i want to save the quality as far as i can.
