convert tv shows to dvd - after a dvd flick alternative

hi all,

anyone know any good all round convertors that can convert a tv series to dvd?

at the moment im using dvd flick but I've noticed on playback it stutters at times, I've check the settings and just left that running alone but it's still does the same problem.

anyone know any good alternatives?
