    10 bit ... what? AVC? HEVC? VP9?

If it doesn't come bundled with an encoder supporting 10 bit component depth, you can't use it for this purpose. And I doubt it does, its target are quick and simple conversions. Video formats with 10 bit depth are not very compatible to consumer playback devices, you may need tools supporting semi-professional purposes by including encoders with advanced features, like e.g. MeGUI / StaxRip / Hybrid ...

Regarding an "Advanced" tab: VidCoder Tutorial page 1 from 2011; is this tab not visible to you?

Handbrake has a Main10 H265 Profile. You might want to switch to it for this type of encode.

You could also try the latest beta of VidCoder (2.28) which may offer 10-bit in the codec picker. Be advised, however, that this version of VidCoder uses a lower-quality AAC (audio) encoder due to license issues.

  7. Like LigH said the default HandBrake package doesn't come with the necessary libraries for 10 bit encoding. See: https://forum.handbrake.fr/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=34165
