    Hi.

The following site worked perfectly for long time but recently it doesn't seem to be working with Youtube anymore :

    http://en.savefrom.net

Any video URL posted for download returns a 'link not found' message.

Is there any other similar website for youtube like the above? Please let me know..

Also if anyone has used the above site please let me know if you are experiencing similar problem.

    Many thanks.

I don't know about being similar, but the one website I've known about to the day is KeepVid.

As I agree those websites are ok, I would recommend a more professional and customizable approach to doing this. Namely youtube-dl. Its terminal based downloading utility that is more customizable. (lets you download in different resolutions, quality and more it even allows you to extract audio from videos using ffmpeg and its all built in. My fav feature is being able to down;load a whole youtube playlist. find it pretty useful to download albums of songs.

Check it out its availible mac on brew, apt-get youtube-dl for ubuntu and pretty sure its also on windows.

    cheers,
