I'm in the process of transferring VHS recordings to DVD. I have recorded some of the recordings and I want to now edit them in the software that is included. It is called Arc Soft Showbiz.
Two (2) problems. I recorded 6 different video segments in the one touch video capture program. One was recorded a few months ago and I just recently recorded 5 more today. Unfortunately, when I open desktop computer "my video" file it only shows the one recording from a few months ago, but when I open the "one touch video capture" software I see all 6 videos and can play them back. Why wouldn't I be seeing all 6 in my desktop computer "my video" file.
Secondly, and more frustrating/interesting....is the Arc Soft Showbiz file allows me to drag from the "one Touch Video Capture" file over to the Showbiz file for editing. But only one file is able to be dragged over. When I try to drag over any of the other 5 files that I recorded today....none of them will drag over. Or let's say, I can drag them, but they won't take(transfer) to the Showbiz file.
I'm pretty new at this stuff.....can anyone help me?????????

Have you searched for the files in windows explorer? Select the Computer and in the search box typ datemodified:today (or yesterday) for files created. Order them by size. And see if you can find your video capture files.

 Or else try capture again.
