    Hey guys, I want to take a clip from a video as a piece of audio over a different part of the video. I have the desired bit of audio as a small video sprite and it's on the timeline, but naturally, the program is running the two videos at once. I just want the one long video, and only the audio of the small video clip. So can I make a video clip in VSDC into a piece of audio? Or will I have to export that clip and turn it into an audio file, then import it back?

    Can't you select the video track and delete it?

    If not then try something else like windows live movie maker or videopad video editor. Both free.
