I create graphics for a skateboard company. The company publishes daily video clips. I created an animated logo for the intro on their clips. They want me to cut out the white space around the animated logo, so that the animation is overlayed on the beginning of their video clips. Does anyone know of a way that I can remove white space from around my animated logo and send to my customer so they can overlay it on their clips?

Here is one of their clips. My logo is the T-bone steak graphic at the beginning. They want the white space removed so that the steak apoears over the skateboaders/scenery. We are collaborating from different geographic locations, so I neec to send the animation, without white space, for them to reuse with different clips.

  2. That's going to be tough because you have the luminance flutter and scratches to contend with. How much of that do you want to keep?

I would use after effects and either key out the white or rotoscope around the steak and logo. If you go the key route you'll need to build a mask so the white doesn't drop out of the "clips' bar. In any case, it's a multiple step operation.

  4. Why don't you just redo the animation? It would be much easier and cleaner since it's your animation - you should have the original assets. Didn't you say you create graphics (as in motion graphics)? Or did you mean still graphics ?
