So I set up my home network to stream movies from my computer to the smart TV and smart Blu-ray players in the house. I got it up and running with little trouble.

When I played my first movie, the video quality did not look great. I had converted an ISO to an mp4 using Handbrake's default settings. So in an effort to enhance the video quality, I started tweeking settings in Handbrake.

The first tweek I made was to simply adjust the "Constant Quality" down to 10. This did not work, so I thought the file size might be too big and I tried 15 as well, without success. Then I googled and found someones settings that they use, which tweeked a fair amount of the settings. This did not work either.

The movies will convert with the altered settings with no issues. They also will play as they should on my computer.

My problem is that any movie that I convert using anything but the default settings in Handbrake, will not show up in the browsers for the smart devices.

The TV is a Samsung, using Samsung's SmartHUB. The Blu-ray players are Sony. I updated all of the devices today to no avail.

Does anyone know what is happening to make the browsers not list the movies?
