I'm transforming some Lightwave rendered uncompressed AVIs into MKV in AVS Video Converter using AVC codec, H264. But there's a problem: The last 12 frames are removed from each sequence.
Anyone know a way around this?
Using MPEG4 does not do this, but looks like crap...

Are you sure the frames are missing from the encoded video? Could it be the way you're viewing them isn't displaying the last 12 frames?

Yeah, last half a second is confirmed gone - have checked the converted files out in video editors

What about the source video? Are you sure the frames are there? For example, open the AVI in virtualdub and scrub to the end
If you can see the frames, then probably avs video converter messed up the conversion. Try can something else like staxrip, megui, hybrid, etc...
