  1. Hello, I have mp3 at 128kb, I am wondering if I save it with 224 kb\s will it increase its quality or not, since the source file was extracted at 128. Any thought. Thanks

no you won't increase quality, in fact, you will loose quality if you recompress it. think of it like this, on this website are many little colorful emocons ect.... if i were to enlarge one of these to the size of the screen, it would be very blocky. same way with audio except the mp3 is first uncompressed into an audio file, then when you save it, it recompresses it, resulting in data loss.

well you could run some type of noise reduction. sonic foundry has one that might help you. If your familiar with winamp, they have many plugins that help with mp3 artifact reduction, do a search at winamp.com and see what you can find.
