    Hello,

I'm using Any Video Converter to convert and burn mpg to NTSC DVD movies.
The video works fine but it's starting up with a menu. Is there anyway to auto play that get's rid of the menu ?

  2. Shouldn't you maybe have thought of this before creating the menu you don't want or need? Anyway, PGCEdit can have you skip over the menu and go straight to the movie. There are a couple of guides:

    http://download.videohelp.com/r0lZ/pgcedit/third_party/blutach/How_to_use_PgcEdit_new_macro.htm
    http://jean.laroche.free.fr/Jumping0.4.3.1/index.html

but those guides were created before the final version and the GUI is slightly different. You turn on the trace and trace past the menu and to the beginning of the movie. You right-click on the movie and "Toggle PGC pre/post breakpoint". Run the trace again to the beginning of the film and then go PGC->Jump to PGC upon DVD insert. Save it, test it out to make sure you did it right and burn to disc. If you screw up somewhere, PGCEdit saves the original IFOs so you can begin again.

Thanks for the post, looks really helpful.

I never added a menu it was added on it's own. That's why I wasn't sure if I could make the DVD without one.

I'll try PGCEdit tonight and let you know how it goes.

    Again thank you !

  4. You have a program that makes a menu for you, whether you want one or not? Okay, if you still have the DVD-compliant audio and video files then open them in Muxman and create a menuless DVD with it.
