  1. Hello everybody,

sorry for confusing title, but i want to know is it possible to add subtitles on original movie bought from video store,so i can play it on DVD player on TV (not PC) without burning copy of it to a blank DVD?
I know it may sounds confusing,so i'll try to give you more detail.
I want to add subtitles to DVD and play it normally, but with new subtitles?
    Is that possible?

No. Your existing movie is probably pressed, not burned, and its structure cannot be changed within the original disc. The same holds true for a burned disc also.

You would need to rip the DVD to a computer and then either add the subtitles to the existing movie and burn to a new disc, or demux the audio and video and build an entirely new DVD-video with the new subtitles added in, but this new video would also need to be burned onto a disc.

If your player or tv can play from a usb stick, it would be possible to put the main movie onto that, and add subtitles in an mkv file or mp4 file.
