    What is the best camcorder to film sports in a gym for about $300?

    It needs to be mounted high up on a wall, it will be fixed and pointed at the court. It will be used to live stream events as well.

    The cable run will be >50 feet so it will need to have component or sdi output (or I will need a converter for HDMI to SDI/component)

    Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

    Live streaming is a whole different ball game then just recording a video. However, there are some inexpensive cameras that can do live streaming wirelessly. I did a Amazon search for "stream from a video camera" and got some hits for some cheapie cameras that say Hi definition. Read the reviews to see if they fit your needs.
