Hello everybody,
Is it possible to save all of the history in Firefox?
And if possible, to restore it in firefox later?

Mozbackup http://mozbackup.jasnapaka.com/
Been using it for years...spot on -
Thanks, I test it but strangely after save my history/pcv file if I erase it in Firefox, and if I restore it with Mozbackup, it didn't work...
There nothing in the history -
'Import and Backup' under 'History' in FF only seems to offer bookmarks backup. There is a menu item there called 'Backup', which I have not used, so I don't know what it can do. (Probably less than MozBackup.)
Here are a couple ideas that might be worth looking into. There are many optional (advanced) user settings that are possible via 'About:Config' in FireFox. I discovered the one for auto-export of bookmarks as an HTML file quite some time ago, and enabled it. There could be some similar control over the browser History that exists, even if it's a bit obscure, but you'll have to search around for this online.
I used to just copy History files for backup purposes, but have not done so in a long time. At some point they changed the name and location for storage of certain things. Some (bookmarks ?) went into an Sqlite database file, "Places.Sqlite", where it was less obvious and less accessible outside of the browser. It will be necessary to get the current info on such things. In the past I had a bookmark to a page that explained where all the FF files lived, what each did, and configuration tips, but if that page even still exists I suspect it would be quite outdated by now.
For saving Windows system stuff (such as a list of installed MS updates), I've come to depend upon a utility called SysExporter (http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/sysexp.html), which is quite valuable for capturing a lot of Windows info that is otherwise hard to save. Something that worked like that would be ideal, but unfortunately it does not extend to applications programs that are running. However, it looks to me that Nirsoft has like a hundred specialized utilities at their site -- mostly free -- so perhaps they have something that would serve for this purpose ?When in Las Vegas, don't miss the Pinball Hall of Fame Museum http://www.pinballmuseum.org/ -- with over 150 tables from 6+ decades of this quintessentially American art form. -
I use a little program called Everyday Auto Backup (http://www.backupsoft.net/everydayautobackup.htm) to make a backup of my whole Fx profile every day. It's really simple and works fine. I actually save two copies, one on my computer and one on my NAS.
Of course what I save takes more space than just a couple of files, but to me the advantage of having my entire intact profile outweighs this.
I once got a virus warning about Everyday Auto Backup, but it was a false positive from Norton - and it only happened with the portable version. The program uses a module for the portability, and Norton didn't like it.Lenovo ThinkStation P520, Xeon W2135; Win10Pro x64, 64Gb RAM; RadeonPro WX7100W; NEC PA301W, NEC PA272W, and Eizo MX270W. -
Thanks all, it's okay. Finally MozBackup really work well.
If I have another problem I'm sure that I will test your others methods -
According to this

it turns out the FF History is stored in the file I mentioned, along with the Bookmarks.

For the peoples who use MozBackUp, after having restored your history, did you noticed that your "today" history remain freeze and not show anymore what you were search on your browser, it only showed your searches restored.
Is it a side effects or somebody doesn't have any problems like this with MozBackUp?
