    Why does it only last for 30 days?
    How do I get it to not time out?
    Is there an alternative that does the job as well?

    $48 bucks...wow.

    I am only doing 3-5 minute DV vids of my kids for my kids 8) . Hard to justify the cost for small projects. Are there any other AVI to MPEG2 converters that have the same quality but are free?
