  1. Why? I want it to output in 720x480 4:3.

    I figured that must be the problem, but I don't see where to change that.

  4. Huffyuv doesn't support pixel/display aspect ratio flags. Just force the AR in whatever software you're using later.

    Then do as jagabo suggests and set a 4:3 display aspect ratio when you take the video to its final encode step. Decoded AVI video has no "display" aspect ratio -- its aspect ratio is the same as the aspect ratio of the frame dimensions, which in this case is 3:2. When you're ready to encode your final output specify the display aspect ratio (DAR) that you want, which would be 4:3.

    That did it. I exported as H.264, and now it is 4:3. Thanks.
