    Hi.

I was search one VERY EASY and without needing to install any other programs or plugins to simply convert any mkv sound into aac or any other sourround sound that very old media players can play.

I try the mkv2ac3 it worked but as i see it need other programs and plugins so i don't like it.

A LOT OF THANKS FOR YOUR ANSWERS AND YOUR TIME.

Make a custom ffmpeg script/bat file.

    Code:
    ffmpeg.exe -i video.mkv -c:v copy -c:a libvo_aacenc -b:a 128k newvideo.mkv
Then can you make a bat for it and process all files in a folder: see https://forum.videohelp.com/threads/356314-How-to-batch-convert-multiplex-any-files-with-ffmpeg

I prefer one gui program that i can make more options about the sound and the bitrate of each video files as a lot of files too so this method doesn't do all that.

Many "simple" guis doesn't allow copy video mode.

But you can try xmedia recode. Under the video tab choose copy under the video tab. Or AVIdemux, under video choose copy, under audio choose aac. But they are both kinda buggy and crashes now and then.

Or some other ffmpeg frontends like FFQueue, Avanti, etc.
