  1. I used cladDVD XP to rip an entire DVD to my hard drive. As is typical, the entire movie won't fit on a DVD-R but the one VOB that has the actual movie does fit. What is the best way to get the single VOB on a DVD?

Do I edit the IFO files to have one VOB on the disk? How do I do that?

Is there a DVD burner like DVDIT that will take a VOB file in?

    Any advice appreciated.

  2. reRip the movie using smartripper in using "movie" mode or "files" mode...these modes will automatically only rip the main movie...if you enable "stream processing" in movie mode the movie will be ripped into a .m2v file for the video and a seperate file for the audio...these files can be easily imported into nearly all DVD burning programs...for more detailed instructions refer to http://www.vcdhelp.com/DVD2DVD-R%20bigger%20than%204500%20megs/ or www.dvd2dvdr.com
