I just bought a Pioneer A04 and sprung for DVDit PE since so many people recomended it. Using a DVD ripper I was able to "backup" one of my store bought DVD's onto my hard drive. Using DVDit PE I wrote it out to a disk and was able to play it on my APEX DVD player. OK so now I can abuse copyright law it I want, BUT that is not why I bought it the burner (really!).
Now I take some captured MPEg, lay it all out on DVDit, burn the disk and I can play it on the Pioneer but not my APEX. The only differance I noticed was there were a bunch of boxes checked (by default) in the advanced tab when I burned the "back up", but they were not checked (again by default) when I burned my home movie. Something about joliet and ISO. Anybody know the best settings before I make another $4 coaster?
Thanks,
-Jeff

To the optimist, the glass is half full.
To the pessimist, the glass is half empty.
To the engineer, the glass is twice as big as it needs to be.
